What fitting actually involves
A kitchen is carpentry, but it is also levelling, scribing and problem-solving. Almost no house has square walls or level floors, and a kitchen that looks perfect on the plan meets reality the moment the first base unit goes in. Doors that line up, worktops that sit flat, end panels scribed to a wall that bows — that is the difference between a fitted kitchen and an assembled one.
- Removing and disposing of the old kitchen

- Worktop cutting, joining and sealing
- Scribing end panels, plinths, cornice and pelmet to the room
- Hanging and adjusting doors and drawers so they line through

Working with your trades
Kitchens need a plumber and an electrician at specific points in the job — first fix before the units, second fix after. We plan the sequence around them so nobody is standing about, and so the gas and electrical work is done by people certified to do it.
