Property Maintenance and Handyman Work in Hampshire
There is a whole category of work that is too small for a builder and too fiddly to be worth your Saturday. Most firms will not turn out for it. We will, and we would rather do a good job on a small one than not turn up at all.
What we do
- Flat-pack assembly — wardrobes, beds, desks, office furniture and anything else that arrives in a box with an allen key and a diagram
- TV wall mounting — into the right fixings for the wall, with cables run out of sight where you want them
- Curtain poles, tracks and blinds — level, secure, and fixed into something that will hold them
- Boxing in pipework — neat casing with access left where a stopcock or valve needs reaching
- Shelves, mirrors, coat hooks and radiator covers
- Small repairs — the running list on the fridge door
Fixings matter more than people think
Most failed DIY jobs are fixing failures. A TV bracket in plasterboard with the wrong plugs, a curtain pole in crumbling plaster, a shelf into a stud that was never there. Knowing what is behind the wall and using the right fixing for it is most of the job.

Between-tenancy work, small repairs from an inventory report and the snagging that has to be done before the next let. One number, one visit, several jobs.
Save them up
If you have a list, send the lot. A half day covering six small jobs is far better value than six separate call-outs.
